Cauliflower Helps Boost Immune System

One of my favorite vegetable. Specially in Chopseuy, steamed, and even fried. Cauliflower is very well know vegetable. This vegetable is like  as Broccoli, cabbage. There a re different kind of this vegetable plant the most popular is the white head one. They are cultivated and sell on the market in very large volume. The flowers of this vegetable are found in great numbers on large compact heads called inflorescences. We have this on our table whenever there is a occasion in different viand. Beside from being a delicious vegetable cauliflower is also use for natural medication.

Cauliflower helps Boost the immune system, Prevents Cancer, Helps to prevent Spina bifida, a defect of the spinal cord occurring in unborn babies, Helps to prevent heart diseases.

All the preventive measures, mentioned have been researched by scientist who are convinced that this plant and its related members, eaten in its raw or cooked from, play a vital role in the general health and well-being. The antioxidant pigment betacarotene which is abundant in brassicas, helps to stimulate the immune system. The vitamin B folates foun in brassicas help in producing antibodies and white blood cells.

The parts used for medicinal purposes are the flowering stalk and the flowering heads.


lee said... is good for people with hypertension, like my brother... my mom has this recipe for my brother... she just sautee a lot of garlic(also good for people with hypertension) in olive oil, add the cauliflower and then add a little salt and pepper
