Aloe Vera, Tomato, Blackberry, Comfrey, Calendula, Witch Hazel, Herbal Remedies for Skin Burns

Burn is a serious injury which you should give a immediate remedy.  Burns are often categorized  as first, second, or third-degree, depending on how badly the skin is damaged.














  




  • First degree burns - this burns doesn't cause blistering. Skin is red but unbroken
  • Second degree burns - burns with blisters
  • Third degree burns - deep burns, destroying the skin and exposing the tissues. With this types of burn it is recommended to take medical assistance to a nearby specialist.



This are the herbal remedies that will help for any types of skin burns.
Aloe Vera - this is commonly use for hair treatment. But it is also best for skin burns that will helps relieves pain & inflammation, speeds healing.  It has a cooling effect and antibacterial properties that will help skin burns free from inflammation and pain. And also aloe is good for acne and other skin diseases.






Tomatoes - the sweet jucy and delicious tomatoes is good also for burns. Accidental burns from cookings from hot oils, pans, and other kitchen burns. We should immediately pick up a tomato.The acid from the tomato is the one that helps soothe the burning sensation at the same time, prevent it to blister.So remember to keep tomatoes on your fridge not for healthy diet purposes but also for you first aid.



Blackberry Leaves it also known for many herbal benefits such as antioxidant, astringents, and burns. Blackberry is High in tannins which stop oozing the burns. A poultice made from slightly boiled fresh leaves is the one you need to  be applied for skin burns.







"To grow together" is Comfrey that derives from a Latin word. This is herbal remedy is use  to knit bones, mend lacerations, and heal wounds. Typically applied to the skin, comfrey can be a valuable healing tool. Apply cold grated comfrey root or a cloth soaked in cool comfrey tea to sunburns or other minor burns. Do not use comfrey internally. Comfrey is safe to use topically, even on infants, the elderly, or pregnant women.





Calendula also known as pot marigolds. I never heard about this flower and through online research about burn remedies i've found this flower that helps healing burns. An antiseptic & anti-inflammatory which is applied topically to speed healing and prevent infection. 








For ages, witch hazel has been a popular remedy for all kinds of blisters and burns, swellings and inflammation of the skin as well as stopping bleeding. Owing to high levels of tannins present in witch hazel tree, the herb has astringent properties which make the plant an excellent medication for stopping all kinds of external and internal bleedings







Knowing that are many ways of healing burns and one of this is by means of herbal remedies. Be sure to keep some of this herbals that will help us in times of injuries.
