Bananas are a herb and high in potassium. They help reduce high blood pressure. Bananas also make girls - if a woman eats bananas at least two per day before she becomes pregnant and then during the first few weeks of her pregnancy she most likely will make a girl. Girl babies are born to potassium high diets - boys to salty diets.
The other interesting thing about bananas are that people usually eat the banana by peeling it from the stem to the base but monkeys and apes always peel their bananas from the base to the stem. It is claimed that base to stem is the easiest way to peel the fruit so we have to wonder why people choose the most difficult way to peel and eat their bananas!
